Rhyme (2025 Filly)
Rhyme was foaled on May 3, 2025 and is the 12th foal from our wonderful broodmare Sofia KD. "Sofie" as she is affectionately known will raise this very bright and cute young lady and will then retire with the other "old ladies" of Derby Farms to live out her days in a well deserved retirement. Rhyme is a super cute, super expressive filly who is destine to follow in the footsteps of her older syblings and make a big splash in the dressage ring. We fully expect a Premium award from this fine foal when she is presented later this summer at the GOV inspection.

Rodisia (2025 filly)
Rodisia was foaled on April 28, 2025. She is a striking jet black filly with very long legs and an expressive trot. Her dam is by Sir Gregory who goes back to Donnerhall and Sandro Hit, two extremely influencial dressage sires. She is by Rodioso who is a Rohdiamant son and Rubinstein I grandson. This filly's pedigree is tops for dressage! She will mature to be tall around 16.2 and will be impressive. She also has a curious and intelligent personality. Video was taken at 5 days old.

Roller was foaled April 17, 2025. This stunning young colt is handsome, and super friendly and athletic right from the get go! He will be very big and has a lot of scope in his movement, we are expecting a premium from this handsome fellow. His dam is a Donnerhall granddaughter and her two others from this cross are maturing into very fine dressage horses with talent for the FEI ring! He is easy to handle and super smart.

Rathe (2023 filly)
Rathe A super gorgeous Premium Oldenburg filly foaled April 20, 2023 out of our Trakehner mare Sophia KD from the Kostolany line by Rodioso (deceased) via frozen semen. This elegant filly with the beauty queen face turned all the heads of the inspectors at her GOV Inspection in August 2023 as she floated by. She will mature to around 16.2 and is super friendly with a calm, quiet demeanor. She will make a lovely dressage horse and the story of her birth (born a "dummy") and miraculous development (saved by the "Madigan Squeeze") and incredible success now as a Premium Foal with an inspector heard saying under his breath "she is a gorgeous one..." will bring tears to your eyes. She is truly a super miraculous foal and will mature to be a horse of a lifetime! She is affectionately called on the farm "Baby Einstein."

Roadshow (2024 filly)
Roadshow Foaled April 10, 2024 this jet black Oldenburg filly is out of a new mare for us by Sir Gregory (Sir Donnerhall I) and is her dam's first foal and she certainly did not disappoint! She is super cute with a charming friendly personality that will endure her to anyone who meets her. She has lovely lofty gaits with an active hind leg which makes her very suitable for the dressage ring. She was presented to the Oldenburg inspection August and was awarded a Premium Award! Her dam is a Canadian bred German registered Hanoverian who was bred for the hunter ring and shows super style over fences. (Current photos and video available...they grow fast!)

Revenuer Born on Tax Day, April 15, 2024 thus the name, this very handsome, big and tall and modern type colt (gelding) is out of our imported Trakehener mare Sophia KD. He is very leggy, brave elegant and a comedian as well. He is also very friendly and a barn favorite! He can make a very impressive dressage mount being jet black with not a hair of white and he has the chops and pedigree to make it as a jumper as well! At his German Oldenburg Inspection in early August he was awarded the prestiges ELITE FOAL status. He is the first Elite foal for us at Derby Fars and we are very proud of this handsome fellow. He is by Rodioso (Rohdiamant/Furioso II and his dam is by Heops a European Jumper Champion) as a plus he also has Kostolany in his pedigree! He will be big and mature to around 17.2-3 hh.
